Cappadocia rooms with water facilities: hot tub or private pool?
A whirlpool bath, an outdoor hot tub and a private swimming pool are different facilities. Booking a hotel that offers one of them does not mean your room includes it. Read the exact category description and ask for written confirmation before choosing a more expensive rate.
Argos in Cappadocia: Splendid Suite
The official Splendid Suite page describes a private pool and gives a fixed water-temperature range of 27–28°C. It identifies stone construction and a window. This is a private-pool suite, not simply a room with a whirlpool bath.
Decision point: if you expect hot-tub temperatures, the published pool temperature matters. Ask about the exact suite, daylight, ventilation and access rather than using “jacuzzi” as a catch-all term.

Kayakapi Premium Caves: select a named pool suite
Kayakapi’s official room catalogue separates categories including Majestic Cave and Pool Suites and Royal Cave and Pool Suites. Its search tools distinguish indoor pools, outdoor pools and Turkish baths. These facilities should not be treated as interchangeable.
Decision point: request the room name or number attached to the offer and the facility list for that room. Ask whether water access is exclusive and whether the room shown in the photograph is the room being sold.

Koza Cave Hotel: Queen Room
Koza’s official Queen Room description lists a private rooftop with an outdoor hot tub. This is an outdoor setting, which creates different weather and privacy questions from an indoor pool suite.
Decision point: confirm operation during your dates, the usable temperature and whether the rooftop is exclusive to your reservation. Ask what happens if the outdoor facility cannot be used.

A checklist before paying for the upgrade
- Facility type: bath with jets, outdoor hot tub or swimming pool?
- Exclusive access: inside your room, on your terrace or shared elsewhere?
- Temperature and season: fixed temperature, adjustable temperature and operating dates?
- Layout: steps, slippery surfaces, ventilation and separation from the sleeping area?
- View: visible from the water itself, from another terrace or only from a shared area?
- Terms: cancellation conditions, extra charges and arrangements if a facility is unavailable?
How to compare the premium
Compare the complete price of a standard room and the water-facility category for the same dates, occupancy and cancellation terms. Consider how much time you will actually spend in the room. A private pool may be a priority for one trip and an unused extra for another.
