Hotel Guide Methodology
This methodology explains how Turkiye Hotel prepares researched hotel guides. It does not mean every listed property has been personally inspected.
Selection factors
- Location: relationship to the stated attraction, neighbourhood or transport need.
- Property format: hotel, resort, cave room, serviced residence or other accommodation type.
- Practical fit: room configuration, meal access, seasonality, family needs and accessibility questions.
- Information quality: whether essential features can be checked through current, reliable sources.
- Limitations: trade-offs, changing services and points that require direct confirmation.
What “best” means
“Best” is context-dependent, not a universal claim. A property may be included because it appears suitable for a specific traveller or location need. Readers should compare current rates, terms and recent guest feedback before deciding.
Ratings and visits
We do not assign a numerical score without a documented assessment. Desk research is labelled as such. When a first-hand visit occurs, the article should disclose the date, room or service assessed, length of stay and whether any benefit was provided.
Updates
Hotel details can change without notice. “Last checked” indicates an editorial information review, not necessarily a physical visit. Always confirm non-negotiable requirements with the hotel in writing.
